Aqualink (AQ) Smart Water is an innovative and expandable platform IoT, which enables wireless way of monitoring and operating the integrated water and sewage networks; it is simple and time efficient. The system consists of robust battery charged devices AQ IoT, suitable for outdoor and indoor usage. The main component of this system is a communication unit AQ (AQ data logger). It can be connected with various types of sensors and up-to-date programme interface AQ WEB while being applied on new as well as different existing sensors that communicate with the server in real-time.
The system AQ IoT consists of devices and software designed to suit the wishes of more than a 100 water utility companies across Europe. Platform AQ is distinguished by an intelligent software user interface with an algorithm of leak detection that enables easier identification of the monitoring point, recognising increase in usage and alarms in the event of a failure.
The design of the AQ IoT sensors ensures a simple installation into the existing pipeline network without changing and interfering with the infrastructure. Installation of AQ devices is simple and user-friendly as it does not need a charging or communication infrastructure.
By adding different models of AQ IoT devices, it is possible to monitor end-users consumption, flow in the DMA districts, system pressure, water level in the tanks, level of groundwater, PH and chlorine value, water temperature in tanks and pipes and multiple other useful parameters. Installation is very simple, devices are usually mounted under pressure without the need of closing the pipeline.
Platform uses different media of open communication networks for sending the data to AQ WEB software; it allows the usage of mobile network GSM GPRS/3G/4G, Nb-IoT and it even works on individual licence free networks, such as WiFi or LoraWan.
Devices AQ send the data packages in adjustable intervals and time periods. The system is distinguished by a user-friendly platform. Its installation and operation does not require programming proficiency. Communication units AQ can be connected together with different units named virtual devices that are protected with a function threshold algorithm, that monitors the devices and automatically gives feedback of network faults without our constant supervision.
Platform works as an individual unit or with a possibility of being connected to the existing systems, such as CNS or SCADA.
